Due to the international financial and banking restrictions in force against Iraq, you can hardly use international bank cards (e.g. Visa, MasterCard), so you have to take all spending money with you in the form of cash (USD).
At the time of registration, 10% of the total amount must be paid as a deposit, the remaining amount will be paid upon arrival in cash with 100€ or 50€ EUR new banknotes only, due to exchange rate differences, and the old issued banknotes are not accepted locally.
Average number of participants: is 8 - 12 people and the tour will be confirmed at least 2 months before the trip date with reaching 6 participants, we will inform you that the trip has been confirmed, and the deposit must be paid.
As of March 2, 2025, Iraqi authorities have suspended the Visa on Arrival program and introduced an electronic visa system for citizens of several countries. The visa fee is approximately $160 USD per person and must be paid online during the application process. Travelers must obtain and confirm their electronic visa before departing for Iraq, as per the new regulations.
Please note: Travelers with passports containing Israeli visas or stamps will be denied entry into Iraq.

Karbala and Najaf are considered holy cities and Islamic guidelines are mandatory, including wearing a hijab and long clothing for women. Upon arrival at the shrines, the abaya will be mandatory in the shrines and will be provided by us. Nail polish and makeup are prohibited when entering the shrine.

Citizens of the following countries need to apply for an Iraqi E-visa by themself, the E-visa comes with mandatory health insurance total of 165$, and it takes 24 hours to process before getting the E-visa by email.
You will get your visa stamp upon your arrival by air at Baghdad International Airport, Al Najaf International, and Basra International Airport. Moreover, the following nationalities can also get an Iraqi visa on arrival at the borders between Kuwait and federal Iraq, Jordan and federal Iraq, and Iran and federal Iraq.
