-Transfer from Basra airport to the hotel according to your flight arrival time.

-Start by going to Old Basra and enjoy the old “Shanashil” design of the houses and the water canals in the streets, and go to the Al-Hassoun Museum.

-Head to Al Qurnah, where the two famous rivers meet, the Tigris and Euphrates, and the Adam’s Tree, which locals believe resembles the tree of Adam’s father.

-Driving to Mesopotamia marshland, we will take a boat ride through the maze of waterways and visit local villages that live in the same reed houses. Lunch will be very special, Masgouf fish has been cooked in the Sumerian style for more than 6 thousand years on a wood fire in a very special way.

-Drive to Nassiriayh, dinner, and overnight in Nassiriayh.

-Start by heading to Ur ancient city which is the capital of the Sumerian civilization and visit the Ziggurat of Ur and the House of the Prophet Abraham. 

-Go to Uruk which is considered the first civilized city in history 4000 BC, and we take a picture with the sign that indicates that the first writing was created in Uruk.

-Dinner, overnight in Najaf.

-Start by going to Kufa Mosque, which is the second mosque built in Islam.

-Go to see Wadi Salam cemetery from the top of a garage which is the largest cemetery in the world and contains a trace of 7 million graves inside it.

-Visit Imam Ali’s shrine, the Prophet's cousin and a holy figure for Shiite Muslims.

-Driving to Karbala, dinner, overnight in Karbala.

-Start by visiting the shrine of Imam Hussein and his brother Abbas, which is one of the holiest religious places for Muslims.

-Driving to Babylon, taking a tour of the ruins of the Babylonian Empire dating back to 2300 BC, we will see the location of the Hanging Gardens, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

-Exploring Saddam's biggest palace on the highest plateau with its wonderful view facing the ruins of Babylon, having lunch in Hilla city.

- Dinner, overnight in Baghdad

-Start by going to The Iraq National Museum is the oldest in the Middle East after the Egyptian Museum in 1926. It contains treasures from all eras of Mesopotamia.

-Visit the Save Iraqi Culture Monument and the Arabian Nights monument.

-Go to Martyr’s Monument is dedicated to the Iraqi soldiers who died in the Iran-Iraq war. The Monument was opened in 1983. 

-Visit Taq Qasra, the last remnants of the Persian Empire when they occupied Baghdad two thousand years ago, contain the largest arch built of bricks in the world. 

-We will go to the Liberation Square monument in Tahrir Square, which commemorates the establishment of the Republic of Iraq.

-Dinner, overnight in Baghdad

-Start by going to Baghdad Oldtown and start by visiting Souk al-Safafeer which is an ancient souk or bazaar that branches off al-Rashid Street and connects to  "Mustansiriyah Madrasah", which dates back to 1233 AD. The souk was established in the Abbasid period and has been active ever since.

-Go to Mutanabbi Street which is the most famous street in Iraq for books, is full of life, music, and the Baghdadi atmosphere, sipping Iraqi tea in the oldest cafe in Iraq, Al-Shabandar Café.

-At the end of Baghdad Downtown there is located Abbasid Palace, which is an ancient Abbasid complex from 1181 AD”.

-Go to Kadhimiya and visit the Al-Kadhimiyan shrine for two of the Shia holy Imans.

- Dinner, overnight in Baghdad.

-Drive to Samarra and visit the Malawiya minaret, one of the most important tourist attractions in Iraq. It was built in the Abbasid era and was considered the largest mosque in the world at that time.

-Go to Abu Dalaf minaret and climb to the top of the Malwiya with its wonderful view towards the front mosque.

-Go to The Hatra Kingdom, represents the first Arab kingdom and is distinguished by its Roman style. Some of it was destroyed during the time of ISIS.

-Drive to Mosul, have dinner, and overnight in Mosul.

-Start by exploring the reconstruction works of old Mosul that were destroyed during the war against ISIS, including the Al-Nuri Mosque and Al-Hadba Minaret. 

-Go to the ruins of Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian civilization, and arrive at one of the gates of the ancient city.

-Drive to Duhok, Dinner, Overnight in Duhok.

-Start by going to Lalish, which contains the holiest temple of the Yazidi religion. We will take a tour inside it and learn about the suffering they experienced with ISIS.

-We will go to Khinnis Reliefs, An Assyrian archaeological site during the reign of "Sennacherib" (705–681 BC). Khinnis was built in order to "celebrate the construction of a complex system of canals" whose aim was to supply the capital of the empire, Nineveh.

-Go to Alqosh one of the oldest monasteries in the world with its wonderful location on the mountain, we will go to Alqosh Heritage Museum.

-Drive back to Duhok, dinner, overnight in Duhok.

-Start by going to Amedi, on the top of a mountain there is a village that has not expanded for a thousand years. We tour its streets and visit its historical gate.

-Continue driving to Deraluk, which is one of the most beautiful swimming places with its blue waters, we will go hiking along a canal next to the valley. 

-Go to Barzan and hike to reach Shandar Cave, which is considered one of the oldest caves in the world with a history dating back 80 thousand years, containing the skeletons of Nyardtal.

-Dinner and overnight in Rawanduz.

-Start by going to Rawanduz canyon and stop on the bridge with the view of the canyon for pictures.

-Drive to Akre on the road between the mountains along the river and stop several times to take pictures, especially next to Kurdistan Rock.

-Go to Akre, our penultimate stop for the day is a visit to the Muslim Sufi shrine in Akre, home to a large community of Dervishes.

-Drive to Erbil and go to Erbil Castle which is located in the center of Erbil city, and the history of this castle dates back to the thousand years BC, going the surrounding bazaar, where you can buy some souvenirs and enjoy the local atmosphere of Erbil.

- Dinner and overnight in Erbil.

-Transfer to the airport according to the flight time.

You will get your visa stamp upon your arrival by air at Baghdad International Airport, Al Najaf International, and Basra International Airport. Moreover, the following nationalities can also get an Iraqi visa on arrival at the borders between Kuwait and federal Iraq, Jordan and federal Iraq, and Iran and federal Iraq.
